Show and Tell Friday

I am a huge book lover and my kids are, too.  One of our all-time favorites is Corduroy.  These two books used to be my husband's when he was a kid.  They are original Weekly Reader editions.  My Mother-in-Law saved them and passed them on to us when our kids were born.  I can't tell you how many readings each of these books has received in our house.  They are naptime favorites.  Corduory is a timeless story.  Who could resist this bear?

  4. I love that book as well and I am so excited that it is one of the books that my 3 and I will be going through in our Before Five In A Row program that we are starting this year! I don't know if you have heard of that program but we will be focusing on this book for a full week - pulling all kinds of treasures out of it! I can't wait!

  7. How neat she saved those and passed them on. The thought of hubby reading them, and now his children reading them warms my heart! Carla at amellowlife.blogspot.com

  8. I loved Corduroy when my boys were little and hope to read about him to grandchildren some day. How neat to have copies of the book passed down from one's own family.
